Peggy Noe Stevens – 8.3 

Nose: Marshmallow and caramel apple. Slight eucalyptus and herbal notes. Cotton candy and a zip of butterscotch. White cherry and banana.

Palate: Expressive fig and honey with an equal balance of spiced orange peel. Well defined oak and wood sugar.

Finish: Flavors ring true on the finish and glide nicely. Clove sneaks in at the end

Comment: Full bodied with some interesting complexity to it.

Susan Reigler – 7.8 

Nose: Cereal corn with a little anise and sweet mint. The fruit is faint, with just a suggestions of orange zest. 

Palate: Lots of grain and oak with the light citrus playing across the tongue. Some sprinkling of pepper spice.

Finish: Brown sugar sweetness, quickly turns to pepper and dry oak. Spice and tannins linger  but they are mild, rather than bitter.

Comment: The addition of a little water, made it even oakier.
