Susan Reigler

Nose
Pitted fruit, peaches and apricots, with vanilla, milk chocolate, peppery herbs, and sweet nuts Warm hayloft, too.

Palate
A rich layer of caramel, with vanilla frosting, baking spice, and leather and oak.

Finish
Very warm, as would be expected given the proof. But it is certainly not hot. Dries to oak tannins.

Comments
A complex sip becomes even more so with the addition of some water, which also helps merge all of the flavor nuances.

Score

8.8
