Nose
Buttery edge. Wood sugar with herbal sage and oregano. Sugar cookie and vanilla bean. Almost a pineapple-peppery note.

Palate
xNice smoky barbeque char first, with caraway seed and vanilla. Compact with sweet cocoa and sugar. Cinnamon follows.

Finish
Coats your palate with the smoky char and cinnamon. The cocoa and vanilla blend has staying power.

Susan Reigler

Nose
Caramel, dark fruit and sweet nuts, with mild caraway and freshly cut rye grass. Very concentrated and complex. Sweetens to hard candy as it sits.

Palate
Honey-drizzled caramel with dark cherries, plums, and figs. A bit of milk chocolate and baking spices. A little water amplifies all the elements.

Finish
Lovely interplay between caramel-chocolate and fruit-spice flavor before ending with sweet oak tannins.

Complex and very sippable.
