Nose: Soft ginger and red apple. Some honey and granola mix. Faint buttered popcorn resembling the grain.

Palate: Simple syrup and maple streaks, with paprika and herbal sage. Slivered almond and oak.

Finish: Airy and light with oak highlights of tannin and some soft spices that rest on the tongue here.

Comments: Highly mixable. Hold the ice cubes and water when drinking neat, as this does not need the extra dilution at all.

7.0

Nose: Initial note of astringency, like rubbing alcohol. Then apple peel, followed by the faintest suggestion of caramel and brown sugar.

Palate: Apples are much more present and the rubbing alcohol retreats. Vanilla notes and a little black pepper. The mouthfeel is medium, but could tip into thinness at any moment.

Finish: Starts with the apple fruit but fades very, very quickly.

Comments: After some time in the glass the astringency faded, but no complexity followed.
