Nose: Caramel, oriental spice and oak. Apricot and peach. A touch of mint and leathery notes with some milk chocolate notes.

Palate: The caramel leaps out on first sip. Vanilla, toasted marshmallow and graham cracker with black pepper.

Finish: Easy and enjoyable, well structured, and rounded complexity that invites you back for another sip.

Comments: A Bourbon for everyday drinking, no matter what day of the week!

Susan Reigler

Nose: Bouquet of ripe apples with light caramel and sugar-dusted almonds. The apple becomes more pronounced as it sits.

Palate: Less sweet and fruity than the nose. Dry with elements of herbal spice and oak. Fruit occasionally peeks through and provides a zingy accent.

Finish: Sweet oak gradually dries to the ending, which is capped with a black pepper pop.

Comments: Let this one open up for a few minutes to see sweet nuts emerge on the palate.
