Peggy Noe Stevens

Nose: Spicy oak bouquet. Nutmeg and crushed pecan. Honey and toffee. Coffee bean, fig, and brown sugar.

Palate: Rich, almost heady, brown sugar and caramel. Pipe smoke and blasts of spiciness that behave in just the right way. Hints of maple syrup and oak.

Finish: Beautifully balanced. Spicy-sweet, long and dry with great body and structure.

Comments: This gorgeous whiskey is begging for affection and I will certainly  give it my full attention.

8.9

Susan Reigler

Nose: Wild carrot and wildflower stems crushed underfoot during a walk in a Kentucky field on a hot fall afternoon. Joined by honey, caramel, and baking spice.

Palate: Rich mouthfeel. Excellent balance of fruit and spice. Honeyed caramel, dark cherries, rye bread crust, beeswax and white pepper.

Finish: Long and lip-tingling with more vegetable notes of crushed stems.

Comments: This is interestingly unpredictable.
