Nose: Corn and graham cracker, extremely toasty and earthy. Pecan and oak combine to make it playful. Candied dates and oriental spice.
Palate: Grain forward with toasted crouton. Cereal notes wrap into apple and caramel. Almost jammy flavor drizzled on biscuits.
Finish: Ample, mouth-filling notes of toasted oak and slight honey.
Comments: Has nice substance for the proof and will create a steady good friend.

Nose: Soft oak, like the scent of a woodshop. Then come fruit and nuts warming in an oven. Vanilla eventually makes itself known.
Palate: Caramel, nuts and a touch of orchard fruit (apple, pears, apricots) are quickly replaced with fresh oak shaving notes.
Finish: Sweet oak rules the dry finish. It has staying power thanks to the substantial mouthfeel here.
Comments: Definitely a whiskey for those who fall into the can’t-get-enough-oak camp.
