Dark chocolate and brown sugar. Dark raisin with toffee and nougat. Sweet, dried cherries. Campfire smoke and dark coffee.
Palate
Dark chocolate with caramel and black pepper. Fig and dates with chopped pecans and honey.
Finish
This whiskey just swirls on the tongue with the peppery twist, yet has a way of still wrapping the tongue with sweet layers.

Well developed and crafted… wish I had such good proportions as this.

Rich milk chocolate followed by a florist’s shop. Rich caramel and vanilla sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg arrive to round it out.
Palate
Honey and caramel-drizzled chocolate mousse, with cherries and apples. Butterscotch and oak, along with herbal spice.
Finish
Very long, with caramel and chocolate before peppery oak.
Comments
Water smooths out the oak and high proof. Patience while it opens is very richly rewarded.
