Nose
Caramel and oak blend with smokey marshmallow and dark raisin. Baking spices and gentle ginger.
Palate
Full mouthfeel that is oak-rich with the wood sugars. Baking spices return, then into sweet grains and cereal tones. Milk chocolate with marshmallow.
Finish
Complex with the spice and sweetness of the wood sugars. Does not stay long, but does the job on complexity.
Comments
Campfire whiskey all night long. The taste is warm and cozy.
Score
8.6

Nose
Hayloft on a warm day with nuts stored in one corner. Then walnuts with the green coverings still on. Caramel sweetness.
Palate
A fine balance of sweet and dry – nuts and oak, and citrus and caramel. Vanilla creeps in around the edges.
Finish
Oak is the leader here. It lingers for quite some time before fading to a peppery end.
Comments
Very much a whiskey for those who sip on the dry side. Water will bring out some citrus sweetness.
