Nose
Banana and caramel leap with toasted breadcrumbs. Floral notes of hibiscus and herbal sage. Golden apple and grits. Dill.
Palate
Oak tannins take this to a spicy height, dominating over the sweetness, yet honeycomb can be detected. Cinnamon and cayenne for days.
Finish
Finish builds on the tongue in a spicy cascade. Lingers with the oak and caramel.
Comments
Rye is for spice lovers and this gem kicks it all in for a truly wild ride.

Nose
Rye bread dough. A little yeasty. Berry with faint cinnamon and dill spice. Quite light, especially at this proof.
Palate
Caramel appears with sweet nuts and baking spice. The yeastiness has retreated, replaced by some notes of pear and herbal rye.
Finish
Very gentle, starting with caramel sweetness and fading to some very soft oak.
Comments
A very good “starter” rye. Lovely to sip, but it is so unassertive that it might very well get lost if mixed in a cocktail.
