Talnua Single Pot Still Cocktail Recipes

Talnua Distillery in Arvada, Colorado is bringing an Irish-style single pot still whiskey to the American whiskey landscape.

Run For the Roses Whiskey Sour

2oz Talnua Heritage Selection Whiskey
3/4oz Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
1/2oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1/2oz Honey Syrup
2 bar spoons of rosewater
Egg White

Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin. Shake without ice until frothy (approx. 20 seconds). Add ice and shake for another 20 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a few drops of Angostura bitters.

Lemon Espresso Old Fashioned

2 oz Talnua Continuum Cask Whiskey
1/2 oz simple syrup
7 dashes Angostura bitters
1/2 tsp dark roast coffee
2 lemon peels

Combine all ingredients in stir glass. Express 2 lemon peels into stir glass and drop in. Add ice and stir for 20 seconds. Fine strain with cheesecloth into rocks glass. Express lemon peel over glass and drop in.
