Nose
Warm, vibrant grains with a kiss of smoke and vanilla. Bready aromas, golden raisins, and slight crushed pistachio.
Palate
Sweet caramel, vanilla custard, and slices of mandarin orange and black pepper. Pecan haze.
Finish
Bold finish as the oak yet settles down and relaxes into the caramel and smoke.
Comments
Texturally rich and inviting with the burst of wood sugar and pepper. A big block of ice will illuminate the fruit note.

Nose
Fruit takes command with peaches, berries, and cherries braced by cream soda and nutmeg.
Palate
Bright, fruit-forward with vanilla and light brown sugar. The spice is peppery with oak tannins.
Finish
Fruit dries rather quickly to some peppery tannins. These in turn do not hang about for long. It’s not a bad finish, just not as complex as the other aspects.
Comments
Sip neat or in a cocktail. Water decreases the fruit. It also amplifies the pepper.
