Pre-Prohibition Rye Revival
Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits

Butter pecan and oak. Rye crackers and honey. Rolled nougat and chopped pecans.
Splash of ginger with a sprinkle of cayenne flavors. Golden-brown sugar hangs tight while the ginger continues to unfold. Some dill.
A light and airy rye until the finish flexes its muscles and sizzles on the palate.
A great cocktail spirit, just go easy on the ginger notes.
Light, almost dainty. Rye grass verging on faint dill. There’s a fruity softness of berry juice.
The berries gain confidence here and do a fine job of balancing the herbal rye notes. Nevertheless, it is a restrained, delicate palate that maintains a fine balance of sweet and savory.
The fruit and herbs fade into some sweet oak with just enough peppery spice at the end.
An amicable sipping whiskey. A little water brings out some more fruit and sweet spice.
