Nose
Honeycomb and seasoning salt. Edgy piquant with a veil of lemon citrus. Pistachio and vanilla begin to beam.
Palate
Round mouthful of caramel and leather. Wood tannins are present, but a pineapple-pepper flavor dominates. Celery salt and light peach.
Finish
Robust finish that swarms the palate with oak and spice notes of clove. Lingers for days.
Comments
Bold and flavorful mouthfeel that sings a song of spice and oak.
Score
8.5

Nose
Warm Harris tweed with apricot, crushed pecans, and a tiny bit of old book leather. Corner snack bar in a used book shop, perhaps.
Palate
Rye grass along with some light, fresh dillweed lead and are closely followed by the apricot from the nose and a pinch of black pepper.
Finish
Long and warm. The pepper trails off leaving behind a bit of sweet oak and a touch of fruit.
Comments
Use cautiously in a cocktail, since it will not seem as strong as it is.
