Barrell Craft Spirits has launched Gray Label Bourbon and Gray Label Seagrass, the brand’s newest, limited-edition releases.
Gray Label Bourbon was made using a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys distilled in Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, and Wyoming, and matured between 13–19 years.
Gray Label Seagrass was made from two groups of 19-year-old, 100% Canadian Rye barrels. A portion of the first group was finished in apricot brandy casks, a portion of the second group was finished in Martinique rhum barrels, and a blend of the first and second groups were finished in Malmsey Madeira barrels. When each set of secondary maturation flavors peaked, those casks were pulled and slowly married into the final blend.
Gray Label Bourbon (RRP $159) is available now in stores and online, whereas Gray Label Seagrass (RRP $199) will be available in stores later this month and online beginning December 1 2024.
