Brother's Bond Bourbon has announced the launch of its first-ever micro-batch single barrel release, Regenerative Grain Straight Bourbon. This limited-edition bourbon, crafted with 100 per cent regenerative grain and aged for seven years, will be available at select 1 Hotels locations in the United States beginning in June.
The award-winning bourbon brand, founded by Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, has shown a continued commitment to sustainability, with a portion of proceeds from every bottle sold being donated to Kiss the Ground, a nonprofit organization that aims to promote regeneration and climate change awareness.
This rare micro-batch release, hand-selected by 1 Hotels' team of beverage directors—Steven Minor and Harrison Deakin—and crafted by Brother's Bond Bourbon in partnership with North Carolina distiller Pete Barger, reflects both brands' commitment to sustainability. By utilizing regenerative grain farming, the release supports soil health and sustainable agriculture.
Ian Somerhalder, co-founder of Brother’s Bond Bourbon, commented: "At Brother's Bond, sustainability isn't just a buzzword—it's at the heart of how we craft, connect, and give back. We're proud to highlight our ongoing commitment to regenerative agriculture with this new Regenerative Grain micro-batch release available at 1 Hotels. From grain to glass, Brother's Bond Bourbon is rooted in nature, and we're raising a glass to the planet with this 1 Hotels initiative that gives back to the earth and the communities that care for it."
Steven Minor, corporate director of beverage at Starwood Hotels, added: "At 1 Hotels, we're always looking for innovative ways to elevate the guest experience while prioritizing sustainability. Working with Brother's Bond Bourbon for this Regenerative Grain micro-batch release is a perfect example. It's not just about exceptional flavor; it's about supporting the future of agriculture and the planet with every sip. This initiative reflects our dedication to sustainability—because great spirits deserve to come from great soil.”
Tasting notes provided by Brother’s Bond Bourbon say this release has notes of caramelized toasted oak and cherry on the nose, followed by ripe fruit and tannin on the palate.
