This week Westland Distillery's Jenna Sagmoen, distillery education ambassador, has showcased exactly what you can do when you experiment with American single malt cocktails. 

Westland's Flagship American Single Malt

Chai It Out

 

  • 1 1/2 oz Westland Flagship Single Malt Whiskey
  • ⅓ oz Scratch Chai Liqueur
  • ¼ oz maple syrup
  • ⅓ oz cold brew coffee concentrate
  • 3 dashes Scrappy’s Chocolate Bitters
  • 2–3 dashes foaming agent (e.g. Fee Foam Bitters)
  • Maple sugar, for garnish

 

Mix everything and dry shake. Then shake over ice and strain into chilled coupe. Dust with maple sugar and enjoy.
