Louiville-based Copper & Kings have joined together with Louisville Tourism and Carmichael’s Bookstore to create Bookstock, a gathering of ‘the world’s greatest spirits and cocktail writers’.
The event will be hosted at the Copper & Kings distillery over the course of two days, featuring specialist writers in the spirits and cocktail industry.
First up from 6 to 10pm on Friday, December 6, there will be an Author’s Salon – tickets are available for $15 and include a complementary cocktail. The Salon will focus on guest and author interaction, hosted by Imbibe Magazine, executive editor, Paul Clarke, with topics including current issues facing the spirits and cocktail world.
From 11am to 4pm on Saturday, December 7, attendees can enter for free to enjoy a book fair, meet writers and purchase signed copies of the latest and, of course, most influential books written on the genre. Additional live ‘Spirited Conversations’ will also be taking place on the Saturday.
