Garrison Brothers has announced the return of Hye Fashioned Takeover, a month-long celebration of America’s classic cocktail, the Old Fashioned, which will take place throughout September – fondly known as Bourbon Heritage Month.

The event features hundreds of participating venues and at-home options, with the Garrison Brothers' 2024 takeover showcasing the distillery’s bourbon to raise funds for Boot Campaign, with the aim of supporting veterans and military families.

Funds can be raised by posting a picture of their Old Fashioned cocktails on Instagram stories, and following both Garrison Brothers Distillery and the Boot Campaign Instagram handles, using the hashtag #hyefashioned. For every account that follows these steps, $5 will be donated by Garrison Brothers to the Boot Campaign.

Across the United States, bartenders will share their favorite ways to make the cocktail using the Garrison Brothers bourbon. At the time of writing, over 180 accounts have signed up to participate, with a full list of those participating across the many states included here.

Ciara Knee, Garrison Brothers' director of trade marketing, commented: “We have been looking forward to Hye Fashioned Takeover all year as it is our favorite way to celebrate one of our favorite cocktails while also doing some good! We also look forward to seeing all of the photos of Old Fashioneds being shared in social from the Garrison Brothers community across the country in support of Boot Campaign.”
