Just two years ago Wally Dant of the historical Dant family distilling legacy broke ground for the Log Still Distillery in Dant Crossing, Gethsemane, Kentucky. Today there is a fully-functioning distillery, amphitheater, tasting room, and more that guests can visit - even a train!

The distillery building evokes images of a midcentury airplane hangar elevated with wood paneling on the ceiling and walls. The distilling equipment is shiny and modern including stainless steel fermenters and cookers. There is currently only one rickhouse onsite but there is obvious construction all around the property.

The Amp with shows on a regular basis that include big names in rock and country. Billy Ray Cyrus is on the agenda for September. Live music is scheduled for every Friday thru the end of October.

Reservations for tours are strongly recommended - you don't want to drive all that way and be turned away - but not required. Book a tour here for groups of 1-12 people, $15 each.
