Kentucky distiller of craft spirits, Castle & Key Distillery, has announced that whiskey industry veteran Sherrie Moore is joining its team as plant manager.

Moore’s career began at the world-famous Jack Daniel’s Distillery in 1975; it was there that she developed her expertise across all areas of the whiskey making process. During the years that followed, she held progressive leadership roles, including plant manager, director of production, and assistant vice president, with responsibilities spanning across distillation, warehousing, maturation, processing, bottling, and quality control.

“I have loved this industry since the day I started,” said Moore. “From the distillery floor to the warehouse, I believe every single step matters in making great whiskey. I’m thrilled to bring my experience and passion to Castle & Key as we continue building on the Kentucky distilling legacy.”

Her career has been defined by her love for the industry and her ability to bring energy, expertise, and a holistic focus to whiskey production.
