Happy Halloween! Whether you’re dressing up and going to a terrifying party, or having a night in watching a scary movie from behind the sofa, there’s enough time in the night to enjoy one of these three spooktacular cocktails!
Port Rye Manhattan
Ingredients:
2oz Milam & Greene Port Finished Rye
0.5oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 dash black walnut bitters
1 cocktail cherry for garnish
Method: Combine all ingredients in a tall mixing glass with ice and stir for 20 seconds while ice dilutes the spirits. Strain liquid into serving glass, and garnish with a cherry.
Pumpkin Sour
Ingredients:
1.75oz Heaven’s Door Tennessee Bourbon
0.85oz pumpkin spice syrup
0.85oz Angostura butters
2 bar spoon pumpkin puree
1 Egg white or 2 dash foaming bitters
Method: Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker, ‘dry shake’ hard, add ice and ‘wet shake.’ Double train over ice into a chilled tumbler. Garnish with rosemary and orange.
Sagamore Pumpkin Spice Sipper
Ingredients:
1.5oz Sagamore Spirit Signature Rye Whiskey
1.5oz Pumpkin Puree
1.5oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Heavy Dash Pumpkin Spice
Ground Cinnamon for garnish
Method: Fill shaker halfway with ice and add all ingredients. Shake to combine all ingredients. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube. Garnish with a dusting of ground cinnamon.
