The twenty-ninth annual celebration of Bourbon kicks off October 15, presented by Koetter Construction

Bourbon enthusiasts from around the world now have access to exclusive Bourbon experiences, right at their fingertips. The 29th Kentucky Bourbon Festival, presented by Koetter Construction, offers Bourbon education, spirited conversations, and at-home cocktail masterclasses exclusively available virtually, from Bardstown, Kentucky.

Attendees can now become a Bourbon VIP by signing up for the VIP Virtual Package, available at kybourbonfestival.com. Tickets are $150 and include access to all education and entertainment sessions, a three-piece 2020 collectable poster set, an official KBF 2020 shirt and a selection, and more.

Purchases of VIP packages also include an automatic entry for a chance to win one of over 12 signed bottles of the bourbon featured on Virtual KBF episodes airing throughout the weekend (depending on shipping laws, bottles may need to be picked up in person).

One VIP will also have the chance to be selected to travel with the KBF to Maker’s Mark in Loretto, Kentucky. During this visit the VIP will hand-select the 30th Anniversary KBF/Maker’s Mark ‘Private Select’ Barrel, enjoy lunch prepared by Maker’s Mark restaurant’s Executive Chef Newman Miller, and receive one master distiller-signed bottle from the 30th Anniversary KBF/Maker’s Mark Private Select Barrel.

“While the virtual event is less than ideal – and we would much rather be welcoming you to our ‘living room’ in Bardstown – we are extremely excited by the opportunity to bring our world-class programming to your ‘living rooms’ this year,” said Randy Prasse, President and COO of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. “The virtual format allows us to showcase the quality we intend to continue to offer in all of our live programs in years to come – from the top heritage and craft distilleries, their master distillers and brand ambassadors.”

Nearly 20 live and recorded ‘Spirits Education Sessions’ can be viewed online throughout the weekend. All will require free registration to attend by visiting kybourbonfestival.com and clicking on the Eventbrite link associated with the session.

The drawing for the VIP prizes will be held on Sunday, October 18 to conclude the weekend. Complete details can be found by visiting kybourbonfestival.com, or by following the festival on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram at @kybourbonfest.
