Reserve and Compartés are debuting a limited-edition chocolate bar infused with Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon. The bar, with hints of orange, is a homage to the Old Fashioned cocktail and will be released during the upcoming holiday season. Compartés chocolatier Jonathan Grahm teamed up with Woodford Reserve master distiller Elizabeth McCall to craft the new release.
Infused with Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon, the producers have described the bar as having rich butterscotch, smooth vanilla, and sweet caramel notes.
McCall commented on the bar’s unique flavors and bourbon infusion: “The marriage of Double Oaked Bourbon, with its sweet flavor profile, and dark chocolate are a perfect pairing. This is a delightful gift for the holidays.”
Handcrafted in Beverly Hills, the chocolate bar also features a packaging design inspired by an Old Fashioned cocktail, highlighting the bar's distinct orange notes.
Grahm added: “Woodford Reserve’s flavors pair perfectly with our chocolate, so partnering again was a very easy decision. I truly believe there’s no bourbon and chocolate more in sync than the rich, complex notes of Double Oaked Bourbon and the ultra-luxurious flavors of Compartés.”
This is the second year for the Woodford Reserve x Compartes collaboration. Last year, the two brands created a four-piece box of chocolates that highlighted the flavors of Double Oaked Bourbon.
The limited-edition Compartés x Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Chocolate bar (RRP $9.95) is available exclusively at retailers nationwide. It is also available at the Woodford Reserve Distillery and can be shipped nationwide via Woodford Reserve’s online shop.
