Nose

Marries fruit and oak with char smoke foundation. An uninterrupted flow of candied dates and graham crackers. Chestnut aromas are modest.

Palate

More subdued fruit of blackberry and orange. Oaky edge steals the show and boasts a thick layer of caramel and mocha. Tannins are not shy.

Finish

Opens up with some water, but does not tame this flavorful giant on the finish. Direct and oak forward.

A mantle of oak and oozing sweetness that is broad and chewy.
