Nose

Candy corn and butter brickle. Toffee nibs reach before displays of vanilla custard and brioche. Oriental spice.

Palate

Defined corn and toffee. Shreds of cinnamon and cayenne elevate nicely. Oak tannins are persistent. Surprising green apple and pear slices.

Finish

A bit hot on the spice, but calms before the final finish of the oriental spice and whisper of toffee.

Comment

Would like more time in the barrel to further define the sweetness.
